The motion picture The Count of Monte Cristo has a great deal of similarities with El Filibusterismo. It informs the life story of Rizal and dives on a society of conspiracy and oppressions. It reveals us the result of being innocent and uneducated. It made me understand the huge value of education in our lives. Edmund Dantes, the primary character of the motion picture, is confronted with so much conflict and suffered for a long time in prison due to the fact that of his traitor good friend and unconsciously being the carrier of the dangerous letter of Napoleon Bonaparte.
Edmund does not know how to check out and compose that’s why he wasn’t able to know the content of the letter which was then a strategy of disobedience by Bonaparte. He lost his rely on God after what had actually happened to him since he thought that God was never there when he required help and justice.
When his priest friend passed away, he had the possibility to leave.
After leaving, he took a trip to the island of Monte Cristo to find the treasure. He considered his fortune as a present from God. After discovering the treasure, he went back to Marseilles and camouflaged himself as an Italian priest. He utilized the treasure to penalize those individuals who have injured him and made his life miserable. The film provided me a brand-new perspective of vengeance which is never implied for self-fulfillment but for the good of everyone. We do not need to put the justice in our hands, rather ask it from God and wait patiently since everything occurs for a factor simply have faith in Him. The motion picture likewise inspired me to work harder in my studies due to the fact that education is a gift that can not be taken by anyone from you, and it is the key for a brighter and effective future.
